Roberta R. “Bobbie” Brennan, age 68, of Dublin, OH, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010. She was born in Los Angeles, CA to the late Wylie and Elvah Robson. Bobbie graduated from Brighton High School, Rochester, NY, in 1960. She attended Wittenburg University, Springfield, OH and graduated from Elmhurst College, Elmhurst, IL. In 1963, Bobbie married the love of her life, Thomas J. Brennan. They lived in numerous cities, Chicago, South Bend, Columbus, Rochester, Houston and Tokyo, in pursuit of both of their careers. From 1963-1980, Bobbie managed the household and raised their three children, Patrick, Catherine and Julie (Hanson). From 1980-1995, she enjoyed a successful career in business, ultimately retiring from the Eastman Kodak Company. Their retirement in Naperville, IL, Savannah, GA and Dublin, OH included pursuing their love of golf, travel, art, food and wine. She was a member of various art leagues, St. Brigid of Kildare Adult Choir and Wedgewood Golf and Country Club. Besides her husband and children, Bobbie is survived by her son-in-law, Jon Hanson; five grandchildren: Jaime, Mikayla and Cassidy Brennan and Ryan and Justin Hanson; her siblings: Richard (Dorothy) Robson, of Hancock, VT; William (Anne) Robson, of Malvern, PA; and Suzanne (Victor) Ribaudo, of New York, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00am. TUESDAY, July 13, 2010 at ST. BRIGID OF KILDARE CHURCH, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin, OH 43017 with The Reverend Monsignor Joseph M. Hendricks, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Dublin Cemetery. Family will welcome friends at the church on MONDAY with Reception of the Body at 2:00pm and visitation following from 2-4 & 6-8pm. If anyone wishes to make a memorial gift in Bobbie’s name, we have chosen a charity at the James Cancer Hospital at The Ohio State University Medical Center dedicated to the research of curing brain tumors.
