BLACK Phyllis Jean Black (81) passed away on July 7, 2010 at 5:30 pm at Riverside Hospital. Born December 11, 1928 to Richard and Chloe Spradling. Phyllis remained a resident of Columbus for her entire life. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband James V. Black, her grandson Tommy, and great grandson Daniel. She is survived by her sons Jim R. and wife Lisa, Tom and wife Mary Kay, Steven M. and partner Gordon, and William V. and wife Samantha. Grandchildren, Jim and wife Lori, Rick and wife Diana, Mike and wife Cathrine, Sally, Sarah, Sean, Megan, Dave and wife Julie, Joe, Bill, Brittany, Chase, Kendyhl, Cavanaugh, and Avery R. Great grandchildren Jessica, Isabella, Cody, Gavin, Roger, Madison, Haley, Gaige, Jacob and Avery O. Phyllis attended West High School and spent over 10 years as a cosmetic sales manager for the Boston Store. Her most recent residence was the Laurels of Norworth in Worthington. Calling hours will be 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Rutherford Corbin Funeral Home at 515 High Street Worthington, Ohio 43085. Graveside service 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Green Mound Cemetery at the intersection of OH-521 and County Home Rd in Kilbourne, Ohio.
