STUKENBERG
John William Stukenberg, 80, an honest, kind and good man, died July 4, 2010. Born in Freeport, Illinois on November 7, 1929, he lived his life thinking of and helping others. He earned a B.A. at Hobart College and an M.B.A. at the University of Chicago and served in the military during the Korean War. He spent his professional life in sales and was C.E.O. of ROC Associates for 20 years. John is survived by his wife, Ellen Whitney Stukenberg; children, Karl (Maureen Cash), Mary, and Scott (Jenny); grandchildren, John, Mara and Erica; brothers, Wesley (Nancy) and Peter (Pat); many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by parents, Wesley and Emma Stukenberg. He is active in the community principally at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Toastmasters, American Wine Society and the Instrument Society of America. He donated blood regularly through the Red Cross. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 700 High Street, Worthington, Ohio where a reception will be held after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John’s Episcopal Church , www.stjohnsworthington.org. or to the American Red Cross, 995 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43205, www.redcross.org.
