Cindy Lou (Fischer) Ridge, age 55 passed away on May 28 2010. She was born in May 24th of 1955 in Elgin Illinois, grew up in Crystal Lake, Illinois, graduated from Central High School and attended Concordia College. Preceded in death by her father Norman and 2 infant brothers Roy and Rickey. Grandparents Edwin and Mary Fischer and Harvey and Clara Cole. Survived by her husband Joel Ridge, son Lucas Ridge, mother Evelyn Fischer, sister Norma (Martin Viets) brother Randy (Beth) Fischer, aunt/uncle Loraine and James Knudsen, Uncle Edwin Fischer. and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Shortly after Lucas was born, Cindy was diagnosed with life threatening cancer. The cancer was removed, but shortly returned. The later miracles performed at the James Cancer Hospital at OSU enabled her to survive and spend 19 additional years in the loving arms of her family. For that Joel and Lucas thank God and the many skilled doctors at the OSU Medical Center. Cindy did the best she could to be a wonderful wife, mother and child of Christ. She did an stellar job on all fronts.
Memorial service will be held at a later date at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Crystal Lake Illinois. .
