Obituary:
Mildred E. Hawkins, age 94 of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the Convalarium at Indian Run. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul T. Hawkins. Her survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas E. and Patricia Hawkins of Columbus; grandson, Todd M. Hawkins of Los Angeles, CA; brother, Elmer Seifert of Lima, OH; nephew, Larry Seifert and niece, Linda Little. Mildred was a member of Athena Court No. 3, Order of the Amaranth. She was also a Past Matron and member of Corinthian Chapter No. 393 Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Advent Lutheran Church. A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, OH 43085 with Pastor Will Sonders officiating. An interment service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield, OH. Family and friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home where an Eastern Star Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Condolences for the family may be sent to: www.rutherfordfuneralhomes.com.
