Obituary:
Dr. Albert John “Bert” Lash, age 73, of Powell and Pompano Beach, Florida dotted the “i” and passed on to our Lord, Thursday, May 27, 2010. Born in Cleveland, OH July 8, 1936 to the late Michael and Mary Lash, he will be lovingly remembered as a larger-than-life dad, dentist and friend. He was a legacy maker, forward thinker and lover of family. He will live forever in our hearts as the nurturer, educator, Buckeye and Broadway season ticket holder, and Lake Erie sailor that he was. He will be greatly missed by his children, Mychelle (Dan) Lopez, Michael (Karen) Lash and Jackie Lash (fiancé, John Callaghan); grandchildren: Jean-Paul Lash-Lopez, Nikolaus and Evelyn Lopez, and Cianna Lash; sister, Patricia; niece, Maryann; mothers to his children, Charlene Lash and Anna Marie Lash; and his many dear friends and patients. A Memorial Service is being planned for Monday, July 26, 2010 at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL and a complete notice will appear later in the Columbus Dispatch.
