Obituary:
Jeanna Cuc Nguyen ,43, of Powell, OH, a devoted wife and loving mother, passed away peacefully May 30, 2010 in her home surrounded by her loving family following a courageous battle with gastric cancer. Born in Saigon, Vietnam, she immigrated with her family to the United States in 1975 and spent her remaining childhood in Northern Michigan and Wichita, KS. After graduating from The Wichita State University with a degree in Marketing, she married her college sweetheart, Chat Nguyen, and worked as a Regional Retail Manager for several years. Jeanna enjoyed travel and entertaining, but more than anything, loved being an extremely proud mother to her three wonderful children; Derek (12), Andrew (9) and Cabrini (5). A generous person herself, she appreciated the tremendous support from her devoted family members and many dear friends in the community. She is sadly missed and survived by her parents, Thanh D. Nguyen and Huan T. Dinh; her husband, Z. Chat Nguyen; her three children Derek, Andrew and Cabrini; her four brothers, John, Tri, De and Vincent; her six sisters, Connie, Nichole, Melissa, Rachel, Jeannique and Dianne; her 14 nieces and 12 nephews. Family and friends may attend the Reception of the Body Service at 2:00 pm WEDNESDAY, June 2, 2010 at ST. BRIGID OF KILDARE CHURCH, 7179 Avery Rd, Dublin, OH 43017, where visitation will follow until 4 pm and again from 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am THURSDAY June 3, 2010 at St. Brigid of Kildare Church with Monsignor Joseph M. Hendricks Celebrant. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeanna’s memory to: Pontifical College Josephinum, 7625 N.
