Norman Alfred Roy, age 88, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 5, 2010. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all who knew him. Norman volunteered at Riverside Methodist Hospital for over 18 years. He also volunteered at the USS Lexington and the Mother Theresa Shelter in Corpus Christi, Texas. He will be sadly missed. Norman joins in heaven his wife, Myrtle Roy; parents, Norman and Ann Roy; and brother, Clarence Roy. He leaves behind his loving daughter, Carol Sue (William) Bedford; grandchildren, Amanda Bedford and Trevor Bedford; brother, Raymond (Glenna) Roy; his pet dog, Midnight Bedford; and many friends he acquired along the way. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 10, 2010 at Northlawn Memory Gardens, Westerville. Arrangements by: RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME, 2383 N. High St., Columbus.
