KERWOOD Barbara Ann Kerwood, age 73 of Columbus, Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at St. Ann’s Hospital with her family by her side. Preceded in death by husband C. Gilbert Kerwood and parents, Frederick and Katherine Dean. Survived by loving family; son Brad (Julie) Kerwood; grandchildren, Katie (Damien) Mendes and Charles Miller; great-granddaughter Kylie Mendes; siblings, Winnifred (Phil) Pertee, Fred (Barbara Jean) Dean, George (Mary Beth) Dean, Catherine (Stephan) Henretta; many special nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. Valedictorian of Wallace H.S., Class of 1955; longtime volunteer Riverside Methodist Hospital in prenatal care area. Barb enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and reading. Member McKendree United Methodist Church and former member of Third Ave. United Methodist Church for many years. Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 7, 2010 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085. Rev. Kathleen Herington, Rev. Rebecca Mitchell, and Rev. Allen Mitchell officiating. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2010. Burial Green Lawn Cemetery.
