PHIPPS Mary Ruth Phipps, age 77, of Columbus, Ohio, died Saturday, May 1, 2010, at home. She was born in Ash Camp, Kentucky on July 24, 1932. Mary Ruth was a faithful member of the Worthington Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Retired from Medibill and currently employed at Target in Graceland Shopping Center. Preceded in death by parents John Bunyon (Alta Dezoria Fleming) Phipps; brother Ray (Julia) Phipps; sister Ruby Pearl (Granville) Ratliff; brothers-in-law Walter Amos Watson and Millard Isaac. Survived by brothers Fitchue Morrison (Christine) Phipps, Roy Allen (Donna) Phipps and John Bunyon (Virginia) Phipps, III; sisters Buenos Meril Watson and Helen Grace Isaac; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; and many friends. A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at a later date in Farmers Cemetery located in Clintwood, Dickenson County, Virginia.
